How quickly do I get my download after buying?
The download link is emailed to you within 60 seconds of payment in nearly every case. It is also added to your VST Vault account, so you can re-download at any time. If the email does not arrive in a few minutes, check spam, then sign in to your account at vstvault.com — the file is waiting under My Downloads. Support replies within 24 hours if the link is still missing.
Do you ship anything physically?
No. Every product at VST Vault is a digital download — VST plugins, presets, sample packs, Kontakt libraries, DAW templates and bundles all arrive as files. There are no postage charges, no customs delays and nothing posted to your address. The order is finished the moment the download email lands. Full details on the Delivery Policy.
What if I lose the download link or change computer?
Sign in to vstvault.com and re-download from your account area. Every product you have ever bought stays available there. If you change computer, lose the file, or want to install on a second machine of your own, log in and download again. If you need a hand, message [email protected] with your order number and we re-send within minutes.
How big are the downloads — will my connection cope?
Single plugins are usually 100 MB to 2 GB. Sample packs and preset packs typically sit between 500 MB and 5 GB. Larger Kontakt libraries can reach 30 GB or more, and the biggest bundles run higher again. For anything above 5 GB we recommend a wired connection so the download finishes cleanly without retries.

Do your VST plugins work on both Mac and Windows?
Yes. Every plugin includes both the Mac (.dmg / .pkg) and Windows (.exe) installer in one purchase, no extra cost. You pick your platform at checkout and the matching file is in the download email. If you change platform later, message support — the second installer is free for life on the same order.
Which DAWs are supported?
The plugins load in every modern DAW — FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Pro Tools and Bitwig. The plugin format you load depends on the DAW: VST3 and VST2 cover FL Studio, Ableton, Cubase, Studio One and Reaper on Windows and Mac; AU covers Logic Pro and GarageBand on Mac; AAX covers Pro Tools.
What is the difference between VST3, VST2, AU and AAX?
VST3 is the modern plugin format — load this version whenever your DAW supports it. VST2 is the older format kept around for legacy projects. AU (Audio Unit) is the macOS-only format used by Logic Pro and GarageBand. AAX is the format Pro Tools uses. Most plugins at VST Vault ship every format in one installer so the DAW picks the right one automatically.
How do I install a VST plugin in FL Studio or Ableton Live?
Run the installer (Mac or Windows), let it write to the default plugin folder, then in FL Studio go to Options → File Settings → Manage Plugins → Find More and click Start Scan. In Ableton Live go to Preferences → Plug-ins → Use VST3 Plug-In Custom Folder, set the path, then click Rescan. The plugin then appears in the browser ready to drop on a track. Will the plugins work on my computer? What are the system requirements?
Every product page lists the exact system requirements — CPU, RAM, disk space, macOS and Windows versions. As a general rule, a 64-bit machine running macOS 11 or later, or Windows 10 or later, with 8 GB of RAM, will run almost everything in the catalogue. Large sample libraries benefit from 16 GB of RAM and an SSD with free space matching the library size.

What is a VST plugin?
A VST plugin is a software instrument or effect you load inside a DAW (FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase and so on) to make sound or shape it. A VST instrument is a synth, sampler, or drum machine. A VST effect is a reverb, EQ, compressor, limiter or similar. VST Vault sells both alongside presets, sample packs, drum kits, Kontakt libraries and DAW templates.
What is the difference between a preset pack, a sample pack and a drum kit?
A preset pack is a collection of saved settings for one synth (such as Serum or Vital) — you load the synth, then load the preset to instantly get that sound. A sample pack is a collection of audio files (WAV or MIDI loops) you drop into your DAW. A drum kit is a sample pack focused on individual drum hits — kicks, snares, claps, hi-hats — designed for trap, drill, house, lofi or whichever genre the kit names.
Can I use the music I make with these in commercial releases or YouTube videos?
Yes. Products bought from VST Vault are made for music production — personal projects, commercial releases, client work, sync placements and live performance. You can release on Spotify, sell beats, upload to YouTube, and score for clients with the music you produce using them. The only thing you cannot do is resell, redistribute, repackage or share the product files themselves — full rules in the Terms and Conditions.

What currency are prices in, and are there any hidden fees?
All prices on VST Vault are in pounds sterling (GBP). The price you see is the price you pay. No surprise charges at checkout, no foreign-currency conversion shock. EU buyers see the same price. Stripe and PayPal handle every payment, so card details never pass through our servers.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) and PayPal. Stripe also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Every payment is processed securely by the payment provider — your full card number is never stored on the VST Vault servers.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. Because every product at VST Vault is a digital download, change-of-mind refunds are not offered — the file is delivered and you have it. Refunds within the three-day window are granted only when a product genuinely does not work and our support team is unable to resolve the issue. Full rules are on the Refund and Returns Policy.
How fast does support reply, and how do I reach it?
Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at wa.link/wvd8nh. WhatsApp is the quickest channel. Most messages get a reply within 24 hours, weekdays usually faster. Include your order number and a screenshot of any error so we can solve the issue on the first reply rather than going back and forth.

Do I need an account to buy?
You can checkout as a guest, but an account is created automatically with your purchase so you can re-download at any time. The account login link is in the order confirmation email. Having an account means you never lose a file, you can re-install on a new machine, and we can resend installers if a developer ships a new version.
How do I get plugin updates?
When a developer releases a new version of a plugin, we update the installer in your account area. Sign in to vstvault.com and download the latest file from My Downloads. If you bought before an update lands, you still get the new version for free — no extra fee, no upgrade pricing. If you want to be notified by email when an update arrives, subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of any page.
